2. This vinyl LP came out in But the songs are actually from The British movie soundtrack, All The Right Noises Starring Tom Bell and Olivia Hussey. One of only two 70's albums by Melanie never to be released on CD. They planned to release in in Nov. , then Dec, and then Jan. And Amazon decided not to release it on CD at all.5/5(2).

4. Oct 15,  · I suspect that I choose the wrong album to post a long ranting review like this, as Please Love Me is another Buddha Records cash grab compilation. As far as I can tell it, this album is essentially a distillation of the All the Right Noises soundtrack with a few added standalone singles from the Buddha catalogue (In the Hour, Momma Momma, God /5(1).

5. This compilation brought together tracks from Melanie’s two soundtrack albums; “All The Right Noises” and “R.P.M.” It also added God’s Only Daughter, a track Melanie recorded back in for Columbia Records, which had previously only been available as a hard to find single.

7. Please Love Me, In The Hour, Ears To The Ground and Getting Out were all included as bonus tracks on one of the early CD release of Candles In The Rain (Axis/EMI CDAX ) Oddly, My Bonnie Lies Over The Ocean, the only track Melanie didn't actually write, turns up on the “Oldie Giants” CD.
